Zeconex Private Limited was established with a singular, clear mandate: to design, develop, own, and operate modern electric vehicle charging infrastructure tailored to the regional geography of Odisha, India.

While electric two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and passenger cars are growing rapidly in Eastern India, public charging availability along critical highway corridors has lagged behind. Drivers face range anxiety not because electric vehicles are inadequate, but because charging points have historically been fragmented, low-powered, or isolated.

ZECONEX approaches this challenge with an infrastructure mindset. Instead of deploying isolated chargers as an afterthought, we engineer high-capacity, multi-vehicle charging destinations equipped with weather canopies, customer waiting lounges, and dedicated capacity for both passenger and commercial transit.

While EV adoption gained momentum in urban centres like Bhubaneswar, long-distance highway travel between northern and southern Odisha remained hindered by a complete absence of reliable, high-power DC fast charging. ZECONEX identified the acute need for an infrastructure-led response along NH-16.

The Engineering Blueprint

On 24 July 2026, Zeconex Private Limited finalized the detailed project report for its proposed 204 kW flagship station at NH-16 near Solari Railway Station and Hotel Samuka, Balugaon. Power loads, equipment specs, and civil infrastructure were calculated with engineering precision.

Instead of relying on a single charger, we engineer a 204 kW balanced distribution: a 120 kW ultra-fast dual-gun DC charger for quick highway passenger turnaround, a 60 kW DC charger for steady replenishment, and a dedicated 24 kW bank (4x 6 kW) for 2W & 3W vehicles.
